The Oji Alum Rapids and Resort, a pristine tourist destination, boasts an extraordinary natural landscape made up of tree-covered Class One rapids that flow from streams, and rivulets of the Oji River nestled in the Alum Inyi community in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State. As a sister location to Nigeria’s iconic Ikogosi Warm Springs in the West and the Wikki Warm Springs in the North, it represents a burgeoning tourism spot with significant development potential. OjaFEST aims to tap into this potential while showcasing southeastern Nigeria’s youth culture, traditional Igbo music, and arts, and drawing Igbo diaspora returning home for the holidays as part of the Igbo tradition.
